Job Description

Job Title: Deputy Manager - Children's Residential Care

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Esland Care, responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in our residential care home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a team of support workers to ensure the delivery of excellent care and support to children.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring the needs of children are met.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and support provided, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure a holistic approach to care.
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and best practice in residential childcare.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 months supervisory experience in a children's residential care home.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
  • Full driving license issued in the UK.
  • Right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and best practice in residential childcare.
  • Values aligned with Esland Care's approach to childcare.
  • Aged 21 or above.
