We are seeking a dedicated Afternoon Concierge to manage operations at a prestigious luxury residential property.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in high-end residential environments, showcasing exceptional written and verbal communication skills. A proactive, hands-on approach is essential, along with experience in team leadership, as you will supervise a concierge team.

Your primary focus will be to provide unparalleled customer service to residents, guests, contractors, and clients. Building strong, respectful relationships with residents is crucial, as is maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

Working Hours: 14:00 - 20:00, on a 4 on 4 off schedule, with 6-hour shifts.

Compensation: £12.02 per hour (Permanent position)

Location: East London - Westham

To be successful in this role, you should ideally have:

  • Prior experience in residential or property management in a similar capacity
  • Experience overseeing a team, managing contractors, and coordinating building maintenance within a bustling environment
  • A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
  • Knowledge of fire safety, health regulations, and security protocols
  • The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations at the property and serve as the primary contact for any customer-related incidents or inquiries
  • Welcome residents and respond to inquiries via phone or in-person
  • Ensure the security of residents and the premises, including monitoring CCTV and facilitating smooth facility operations
  • Issue keys to authorized personnel/residents while maintaining accurate records of key transactions
  • Adhere to management contracts, lease agreements, and service standards
  • Conduct regular fire alarm, lift alarm, and other compliance tests, reporting any issues to the Property Manager and maintaining logs for inspections
  • Oversee all deliveries at the reception desk, ensuring the safe handling of parcels and registered mail, and notifying residents for collection
