HR Operations Specialist

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Specialist to join our BDO UK LLP team. As an HR Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of HR-related administration and ensuring the smooth onboarding of new employees.
Key Responsibilities- Onboarding Experience: Provide a seamless candidate onboarding experience, often being the first key contact for all new joiners at BDO.
- Offer Letters and Contracts: Create offer letters and contracts for new employees.
- Background Screening: Manage the full process of background screening for candidates.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other HR teams, such as Resourcing, Employee Relations, Reward, and our HR Generalist teams.
- Quality and Effectiveness: Ensure quality, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of the HR Shared Service offering.
- Education: A / AS Level education or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven experience within an HR operational delivery role, ideally within a Shared Service structure.
- IT Skills: Proficient IT skills using Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel & Outlook).
- HR Systems: Previous experience of working with HR Systems.
- Confidentiality and GDPR: Understanding of confidentiality & GDPR.
- Communication and Organisational Skills: Excellent oral & written communication skills, excellent organisational and time management skills, balancing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: High level of focus and attention to detail and accuracy.
- Personal Commitment: A high level of personal commitment to task completion.
- Diversity and Teamwork: Values diversity of colleagues and demonstrates capability to work along and as part of a team.
