Position Overview

The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will oversee the payroll processing for Fugro GB (North) Marine Limited on a monthly basis. This role requires close collaboration with our payroll service provider, business units, and the Human Resources Department to ensure accurate payroll processing in compliance with established policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute tasks necessary for the precise calculation of employee wages and salaries.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of payroll procedures across multiple payrolls, each with distinct deduction and tax implications.
  • Manage payroll schedules and internal deadlines effectively.
  • Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries promptly.
  • Maintain payroll documentation and records meticulously.
  • Administer salary sacrifice schemes and maintain relevant information.
  • Oversee the P11D/PSA process management.
  • Administer pension scheme memberships accurately.
  • Create and maintain journal entries.
  • Reconcile wage accounts diligently.
  • Manage employee recharge administration.
  • Distribute balance statements for Guaranteed Earnings to employees and relevant management.

Candidate Profile:

An AAT qualification is preferred but not mandatory. The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing payroll for approximately 500 employees with diverse allowance structures.
