Position Overview
The Compensation and Benefits Specialist will oversee the monthly payroll operations for Fugro GB (North) Marine Limited. This role requires close collaboration with our payroll service provider, business units, and the Human Resources Department to ensure precise payroll processing in accordance with established policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks necessary for the accurate calculation of employee wages and salaries.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of procedures related to multiple payrolls, each requiring distinct deduction and tax treatments.
- Manage payroll timelines and internal deadlines efficiently.
- Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries promptly.
- Maintain payroll files and records meticulously.
- Administer salary sacrifice schemes and manage related payroll processes.
- Oversee float and salary advance information management.
- Handle the P11D/PSA process effectively.
- Administer pension scheme memberships and related tasks.
- Create and maintain journal entries as needed.
- Reconcile wage accounts accurately.
- Administer employee recharges and maintain relevant records.
- Distribute balance statements for Guaranteed Earnings to employees and management.
Candidate Profile:
An AAT qualification is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates should have proven experience managing payroll for approximately 500 employees with various allowance structures.
