We are pleased to announce a remarkable opportunity within the West Midlands Screening Commissioning Team for the role of Screening Program Coordinator on a fixed-term contract.

The West Midlands Screening Commissioning Team operates under the Integrated Commissioning Directorate of NHS England - Midlands. Our mission is to ensure the delivery of high-quality cancer and non-cancer National Screening Programs tailored to the health requirements of the West Midlands population.

The successful candidate will engage with various stakeholders across the West Midlands Region, which encompasses six Integrated Care Board areas:

  • Black Country & West Birmingham
  • Birmingham & Solihull
  • Coventry & Warwickshire
  • Herefordshire & Worcestershire
  • Staffordshire & Stoke on Trent
  • Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin

As a Screening Program Coordinator, you will collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver an efficient service, assisting managers and staff in:

  • Establishing and nurturing effective relationships with Screening stakeholders in the West Midlands.
  • Addressing health disparities and enhancing access to Screening programs.
  • Continuously improving the quality and safety of Screening initiatives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in delivering or commissioning Screening programs.
  • Specialized knowledge in a relevant field (e.g., Clinical/Specialist advice).
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects in complex and demanding environments.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the capability to convey clear ideas and concepts to a diverse audience.
  • Strong analytical skills to navigate complex issues with conflicting information from various sources.
