The Role:
The Events Operations Manager plays a crucial role in the meticulous planning, coordination, and execution of all operational elements associated with meetings, conferences, and exclusive events.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of events, ensuring all logistics are thoroughly planned and executed.
- Effectively manage the Meetings & Events department, ensuring team alignment with departmental goals and adequate training.
- Contribute to the hotel's profitability by driving revenue from meetings, conferences, and events.
- Manage budgets, control expenses, and optimize resources to meet financial objectives.
- Lead, motivate, and inspire the M&E team to deliver exceptional service and achieve departmental goals.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to keep the team informed about industry trends and best practices.
- Ensure the highest level of customer service is consistently delivered.

Person Specification:
Essentials:
- Demonstrated experience in event management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, focusing on motivation, development, and performance management.
- Proven ability to work closely with and manage partnerships.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Meticulous attention to detail in task management.
- Commitment to providing exceptional service and fostering long-term client relationships.
Desirables:
- Experience managing large-scale events in a luxury or high-end environment is preferred.
Further Information:
- 45 hours per week.
