Role Overview:

We are seeking a Programme Compliance Auditor to join our Investment and Compliance Team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of services for our residents and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive onsite audits of investment programmes, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and legislative standards.
  • Verify that materials utilized in projects meet the established specifications.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with contractors to discuss project progress.
  • Prepare and submit detailed programme audit reports.
  • Identify and implement corrective action plans to address contractor performance issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Ensure that retrofit initiatives comply with grant funding stipulations.
  • Participate in resident liaison meetings, providing updates on programme status and addressing any concerns.
  • Conduct end-of-programme evaluations and propose recommendations for service and value-for-money enhancements.
  • Assist in gathering current stock information and HHSRS data, offering suggestions for property improvements.

Candidate Profile:

The ideal applicant will possess an HNC in Building Surveying, or a Level 4 qualification in building and construction, or an equivalent credential.

A willingness to pursue a Retrofit Coordinator qualification is essential.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience in conducting programme and project contract audits within the social housing sector or a related field, particularly in sustainability retrofit initiatives.
  • Ability to make informed recommendations and implement corrective measures for non-compliance issues.
  • Experience in collaborating with residents to deliver exceptional services.
  • Familiarity with conducting HHSRS assessments and proposing improvement strategies.

A solid understanding of health & safety regulations, contract law, building construction standards, and statutory requirements is necessary.
