Position Overview

We are seeking a Compliance Support Specialist to become an integral part of our Compliance Division within the Housing Department. Your dedication and enthusiasm will contribute significantly to enhancing the lives of our residents and communities.

The Compliance Division is responsible for overseeing essential compliance areas, including gas, electrical, asbestos, fire safety, lifts, and water hygiene, while also addressing issues related to damp and mould management.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the Compliance Business Manager, you will be tasked with delivering a customer-focused and innovative compliance support service.

Your duties will include:

managing compliance data, maintaining the asbestos register, and coordinating the daily activities of contractors to ensure adherence to servicing schedules and deadlines assisting in the collection, administration, and evaluation of customer satisfaction metrics ensuring that complaints regarding compliance and investment services are addressed promptly and effectively processing work orders, purchase orders, and invoices, including variations

This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations concerning health and safety in our housing and corporate properties.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will:

possess an NVQ level 3 / ONC in administration or have equivalent experience hold, or be willing to pursue, an IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
