Role Overview

We are seeking a Programme Compliance Auditor to enhance our Investment and Compliance Division. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to improving the lives of our residents and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive onsite audits of investment initiatives, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and high-quality standards.
  • Verify that materials utilized meet the established specifications.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with contractors to discuss progress and address concerns.
  • Prepare and submit detailed audit reports on programme performance.
  • Identify discrepancies in contractor performance and develop corrective action plans, ensuring timely implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with grant funding requirements for retrofit projects.
  • Participate in resident engagement meetings, providing updates on programme status and addressing any issues.
  • Conduct evaluations at the conclusion of programmes, offering insights for service enhancements and value for money improvements.
  • Assist in gathering current stock information and HHSRS data, providing recommendations for property enhancements.

Candidate Profile

The ideal applicant will possess an HNC in Building Surveying, or a Level 4 qualification in building and construction, or an equivalent credential.

Candidates should either hold or be willing to pursue a Retrofit Coordinator qualification.

Required Experience

  • Proven experience in conducting programme and project contract audits within the social housing sector or related fields, particularly in sustainability retrofit initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to recommend and implement corrective measures for non-compliance issues.
  • Experience collaborating with residents to deliver superior service outcomes.
  • Proficiency in conducting HHSRS assessments and providing improvement recommendations.

A solid understanding of health & safety regulations, contract law, building construction standards, and relevant statutory and best practice guidelines is essential.
