Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Innovate, a specialist consultancy supporting Government, Defence, and National Security initiatives.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the requirements capture process for major UK programmes, working closely with our clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the requirements capture process for major UK programmes, working closely with clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Public Sector domain, procurement projects, and industry processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and document system requirements.
  • Utilize Systems Engineering tools, such as DOORS, DRM, Rhapsody, SysML, and Cameo, to support requirements management.
  • Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering principles to ensure effective system design and development.
  • Provide strong stakeholder management and communication skills to ensure successful programme delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with the project management team to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Hold or be willing to obtain SC Clearance and UK Eyes Only DV Level security clearance.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in a relevant subject with a strong mathematical background.
  • Proven experience in the Defence, Intelligence, or Central Government sectors.
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering tools and Model-Based Systems Engineering principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a project management capacity.
