Job Description:

We are seeking an exceptional Programme Manager to join our team at MASS, a leading technology company trusted by highly-secure organisations to provide advanced digital services. As a Programme Manager, you will play a vital role in the implementation of UK defence policy, collaborating closely with industry-leading technical experts and Ministry of Defence colleagues on assured delivery of this important national endeavour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a diverse team on complex Defence projects and programmes, establishing and maturing a robust delivery governance structure
• Delivery using a mixture of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with a focus on financial awareness and commercial acumen
• Directly manage other managers and senior engineers, with a strong team-player ethos and focus on customer relationship management
• Resource and risk management, with a credible commercial acumen

Requirements:

• A sole UK National, eligible to obtain and maintain a UK Government DV security clearance
• Experience of programme and project management in a defence environment, with a strong working knowledge of programme management principles and best practices
• Proven experience of managing complex Defence projects and programmes, with a focus on establishing and maturing a robust delivery governance structure
• Delivery using a mixture of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with a focus on financial awareness and commercial acumen
• Directly managing other managers and senior engineers, with a strong team-player ethos and focus on customer relationship management
