The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Department Manager to lead the Beauty & Accessories team in our new Flagship store in Leeds.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of sales advisors, beauty experts, brand managers, and team leaders in a dynamic retail environment.
  • Drive the Beauty & Accessories team to achieve KPIs and sales targets consistently.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences by showcasing your product knowledge and expertise in the beauty industry.
  • Set ambitious goals for yourself and your team, ensuring accountability for meeting individual and collective performance metrics.
  • Maintain a deep passion for the beauty industry and stay informed about emerging trends.
  • Continuously expand your product knowledge through brand materials, training sessions, and self-directed learning.
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Plan and execute engaging in-store events in collaboration with the store management and brands.
  • Maintain impeccable visual merchandising standards by ensuring drawers, counter displays, and product presentations are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  • Support stock counts and other operational tasks as needed.
  • Lead by example, providing guidance and support to Beauty Ambassadors.
  • Collaborate effectively with the store management team to achieve shared objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with brand representatives to ensure a seamless partnership.
  • Champion our company culture and values within your team.
Your Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing large teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Experience leading a beauty department is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in the luxury beauty sector is essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • A successful track record in retail management roles.
  • Genuine interest in luxury fashion and beauty brands.
  • While a qualification in makeup artistry or demonstrated beauty retail experience is preferred, we welcome passionate individuals with extensive experience in luxury or trend-driven retail.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
  • Flexibility to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a dynamic environment.
