We are seeking an experienced and passionate Beauty Department Manager to lead our luxury beauty team at Flannels. As a key member of our retail management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales growth, and maintaining high standards of visual presentation in our stores.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead a large and diverse team of sales advisors, beauty experts, and brand managers in a fast-paced environment.
- Sales Performance: Drive and achieve individual and team objectives, and be accountable for meeting your own sales results and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Customer Experience: Provide a luxury selling experience to all customers, demonstrating excellent product knowledge and expertise in beauty.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain your own product knowledge of all beauty products using brand and store product information, education materials, and attending training as required.
- Event Planning: Own the planning and delivery of in-store events in conjunction with the store and brands.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain high standards of visual presentation in stores by ensuring drawers and counter displays are kept clean and tidy.
- Operational Support: Support with stock counts and other operational duties.
- Team Development: Lead by example to support and coach the Beauty Ambassadors.
- Brand Relationships: Develop strong relationships with brand representatives.
- Culture Champion: Champion our company culture and values.
- Experience: Experience working with large teams in a fast-paced environment, preferably in a luxury retail setting.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Communication: Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Qualifications: A qualification in make-up artistry or a demonstrated beauty retail experience is preferred, but we welcome applicants who are passionate about the industry with extensive experience within luxury or trend-based retail.
- Customer Service: Ability to demonstrate the ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service.
- Availability: Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced work environment.
