Job Opportunity: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Ribbons and Reeves Limited. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and providing individualized support to students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons to students with special educational needs
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs, including those with physical, sensory, or learning disabilities
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for students with special educational needs

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2.1 degree from a Top 20 UK University
  • Prior experience working with children with SEN
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
