A distinguished Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) is in search of qualified SEN Instructors to become integral members of the permanent staff at one of its respected educational institutions in Willingham. Key Duties:

  • Provide exceptional teaching and learning experiences tailored to the varied needs of students with SEN.
  • Create and execute individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students in reaching their academic and personal aspirations.
  • Collaborate with parents, guardians, and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to student development.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to fostering an inclusive culture within the school.
  • Maintain precise records and offer regular updates on student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, specializing in SEN.
  • Demonstrated experience working with students with a variety of special educational needs, including but not limited to autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, and learning difficulties.
  • Thorough understanding of the SEN Code of Practice and current best practices in SEN education.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
  • A compassionate and patient demeanor, with a sincere dedication to enhancing the educational and emotional well-being of students.
  • Capability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one prior to appointment).
