Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Support Assistant to join our team. As a SEN Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting their academic and personal growth.
- Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for SEN students, ensuring their unique needs are met.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help students with academic tasks, personal care needs, and monitor their progress and behavior.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
- Relevant training in SEN support or education is preferred.
- Prior experience working with individuals with SEN is desirable.
Certificate or Diploma in SEN Support.
Working Conditions:This role may require standing for extended periods and assisting students with physical needs. The work environment includes a classroom setting within an educational institution.
