Teaching Personnel is thrilled to announce the availability of guaranteed work contracts for outstanding educators specializing in Special Educational Needs (SEN) based in North Shields and its neighboring regions.

Our Guaranteed Work Scheme offers select experienced SEND Support Staff a unique opportunity to secure a steady income while enjoying the flexibility of supply teaching. We are actively seeking dedicated SEND Support Staff who can provide assistance in SEND and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) settings across both Primary and Secondary age groups in the Tyneside Area.

How the Scheme Operates:

  • Upon registration and positive feedback from our client schools, we will discuss your availability for supply work.
  • We guarantee payment for every day worked, minus one (per week), even in the absence of available work.
  • To qualify for payment during non-working days, adherence to the scheme's terms and conditions is essential.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young individuals with special educational needs is preferred but not mandatory.
  • A compassionate and patient demeanor, coupled with a genuine dedication to enhancing the learning and well-being of SEN students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective rapport-building with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
  • A proactive attitude towards learning and professional growth, with a willingness to engage in training provided by the school.
  • A positive mindset, adaptability, and resilience when faced with challenges.
