About the Role

Cast UK Limited is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the 4PL logistics and transport industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate and follow up on leads and opportunities to convert them into successful ventures.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the transport and logistics sector, on an international scale.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Utilize negotiation expertise to secure lucrative deals and drive new business acquisition.
  • Monitor market trends, developments, and competitors to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional support and service throughout their journey.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless project delivery.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of driving sales and business development success in a B2B services/solutions environment.
  • Experience of selling Logistics solutions is essential.
  • A demonstrable record of accomplishment in generating new, multimillion pound business services solutions.
  • Business proposal creation and delivery.
  • CRM proficiency ideally in Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Ability to identify, manage and convert self-generated lead pipeline.
  • Ability to travel to meet customers as needed.
