About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Development Manager to join our team at Ocado Group. As a key member of our Solutions department, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our international partnerships, working closely with C-level executives and other stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to identify and pursue new international partnerships
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, to understand their business needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement commercial plans, including financial modeling, contract negotiation, and project management
  • Provide market analysis and insights to inform business decisions and drive growth
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the global retail landscape, including market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory environments
Requirements
  • Proven experience in business development, with a strong track record of driving growth and identifying new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement commercial plans and strategies
  • Deep understanding of the global retail landscape, including market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory environments
  • Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts effectively
