About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Children's Community Nurse to join our team at Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust. As a key member of our community nursing service, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality nursing care to children and young people in their homes, special schools, and residential respite settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of children and young people, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating their nursing care.
  • Deliver clinical interventions, train parents, carers, and staff from other agencies, and work with multi-professional and multi-agency colleagues to support children to achieve their best outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver end-of-life care to children at home, as part of our 24-hour on-call rota.

Requirements
  • Registered Children's Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse with effective registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
  • Teaching and assessing qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Extensive experience of working with children with complex health needs, teaching, and assessing.
  • Good communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
