Key Responsibilities:

  • Car driver and access to a vehicle for work essential
  • Demonstrate first level qualification of Child Branch or RGN with an RSCN qualification
  • Applications will be considered from learning disability and adult registered nurses who can demonstrate extensive experience working with children with complex physical health needs
  • Teaching, assessing and mentoring experience is essential
  • The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a wide range of clinical skills
  • Good communication skills are essential
  • Community experience is desirable but not essential
  • Problem solving, ability to work independently as well as working as part of a large and diverse team are all characteristics we are looking for in applicants
  • A good knowledge of the principles of safeguarding, SEND and Children's Continuing Care are a requirement

Requirements:

  • First level qualification of Child Branch or RGN with an RSCN qualification
  • Extensive experience working with children with complex physical health needs
