About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated nurse to make a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families. You will work autonomously, managing a caseload of children and young people, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating their nursing care.
As a Children's Community Staff Nurse, you will be part of a dynamic and supportive team that is passionate about delivering excellent clinical nursing care. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients, including delivering clinical interventions, training parents and carers, and working with multi-professional and multi-agency colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of children and young people, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating their nursing care.
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to children and young people in their homes, schools, and other community settings.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and carers to ensure effective care and support.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A first-level qualification in nursing (Child Branch or RGN) with an RSCN qualification.
- Extensive experience of working with children with complex health needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
