Position Overview

The EMEA Merchandising Operations Lead is a pivotal role within our organization, focusing on the enhancement of our digital subscription services. This position is integral to shaping the future of our direct-to-consumer experience, appealing to a diverse audience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and refine the Localised Operating Model for merchandising across EMEA.
  • Ensure local teams in various European offices have comprehensive control over their merchandising services while aligning with global and regional objectives.
  • Oversee the efficient execution of local page builds and quality assurance checks for multiple markets.
  • Facilitate a weekly regional review process to ensure timely approvals for content visibility.
  • Guide a team of regional reviewers in conducting quality checks, providing necessary documentation and support.

Brand Stewardship

As the EMEA Merchandising Operations Lead, you will uphold the highest standards of brand representation, ensuring adherence to global content strategies, seasonal initiatives, and marketing alignments while being sensitive to local market nuances.

Collaboration and Strategy

Work closely with the Merchandising team to integrate local, regional, and global merchandising strategies. Participate in editorial discussions and content prioritization meetings to maintain an engaging and relevant merchandising approach.

Qualifications

  • Experience in digital platforms and content management systems is essential.
  • Preferred background in quality assurance or quality control.
  • A minimum of two years in subscription video on demand (SVOD) management or content programming.
  • Familiarity with Disney & Fox brands and popular intellectual properties.
  • Proficient in using Excel and Google Sheets; experience with Airtable is a plus.
  • Strong presentation skills, particularly in PowerPoint.
