Position Overview

The EMEA Operational Merchandising Manager is a pivotal role aimed at enhancing our digital subscription services, focusing on creating a compelling direct-to-consumer experience that resonates with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and refine the Localised Operating Model for merchandising across Europe.
  • Ensure local teams are equipped with comprehensive control over their merchandising functions while aligning with global and regional strategies.
  • Oversee the timely execution of local page builds and quality checks for various markets.
  • Facilitate a weekly regional review process to ensure pages are ready for executive approval and global visibility.
  • Guide regional reviewers in conducting quality checks, providing necessary documentation and support.

Brand Stewardship

As the Operational Merchandising Manager, you will uphold the integrity of our brand by ensuring adherence to global content priorities, seasonal campaigns, marketing strategies, and diversity initiatives, while being sensitive to local market nuances.

Collaboration and Strategy

Work closely with the Merchandising team to align on local, regional, and global merchandising strategies. Participate in editorial discussions and content prioritization meetings to keep our merchandising approach engaging and relevant.

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience in digital platforms or content management systems is required.
  • Preferred background in quality assurance or quality control.
  • A minimum of two years in subscription video on demand (SVOD) management or content programming.
  • Familiarity with major entertainment brands and intellectual properties.
  • Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets; experience with Airtable is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
