Job Title: Sales Account Manager

We are excited to share a unique opportunity with a leading global flexible packaging company. As a Sales Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing new and existing accounts, ensuring that agreed budgets are achieved and all potential for additional growth is satisfied.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts and develop relationships with clients
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to clients
  • Maintain contact with customers in the UK and European regions to troubleshoot and provide marketing/sales/product information
  • Provide the important link between the sales and technical teams
  • Identify and target business development opportunities in both home and export markets
  • Negotiate new price structures for both new and existing customers
  • Work with the Sales Director to forecast customers' anticipated spend for the year and produce budgeting information
  • Investigate/analyse shortfalls in individual customer expenditure
  • Liaise closely with Internal Sales Manager and internal sales coordinators team to ensure customer deadlines/requirements are met
Requirements:
  • One year plus industry experience with a background in sales management and ideally a Bachelor's Degree within packaging/FMCG
  • Strong business development and account management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
