About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our geotechnical team, you will play a leading role in the ground engineering input to our most challenging projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage geotechnical projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and implement geotechnical designs, taking into account client requirements and project constraints.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that meet client needs and expectations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our services.
Requirements
  • Chartered status as a geologist or civil engineer, with a strong academic background and relevant post-graduate qualification.
  • Proven experience in geotechnical design, project management, and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and lead design teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply CDM Regulations in a design and ground investigation environment.
  • A willingness to travel on short assignments, both within the UK and internationally.
