About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Ganymede Solutions. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing geotechnical solutions for various infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Field Investigations: Assist in planning, specifying, and executing field investigations. Coordinate and schedule laboratory testing to ensure projects are completed on time.
  • Records Review: Review contractor records, field forms, and laboratory reports for accuracy and compliance. Analyze drilling and test pit logs, field investigation dailies, laboratory test reports, and chain of custody logs.
  • Design and Analysis: Utilize your knowledge of shallow and deep foundation systems, ground improvement techniques, and slope stability principles to contribute to the design of geotechnical elements such as foundations, retaining structures, earthworks, and slope stabilization measures.
  • Software Proficiency: Utilize specialized geotechnical software tools, such as Open-Ground (OGC), to enhance technical capabilities and optimize design processes.
  • Field Experience: Leverage any previous ground investigation experience to contribute to field activities and offer valuable insights throughout the project lifecycle.
  • CAD Proficiency: Use AutoCAD software to create precise and accurate design drawings, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and specifications.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in geotechnical engineering.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of geotechnical principles and practices. Proficient in Open-Ground (OGC) software. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
