Graduate Geotechnical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at Soil Engineering Geoservices Limited. As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, you will play a key role in carrying out detailed analysis of ground conditions and assessing geological hazards to provide our clients with comprehensive reports.
Key Responsibilities- Support projects across the UK, combining on-site and office-based work, communicating our progress regularly with clients and working closely with site teams to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Direct trial pit and borehole locations and sampling, execute grouting, specific in-situ testing, log soils and rock, prepare laboratory test schedules, and manage all contract reports.
- Collaborate with our highly skilled team to provide leading geotechnical expertise through ground investigation, drilling, and grouting, and geotechnical testing.
- Hold a degree in a Civil Engineering or Geology-related subject (or an equivalent qualification), with a good understanding of ground conditions, drilling, and site investigation work.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Full UK driving license, enabling you to visit our sites across the country.

We maintain one of the country's largest single-site Geotechnical Laboratories, UKAS accredited for over 40 test disciplines, which undertakes testing for internal and external projects. Our laboratory also maintains our In-Situ testing capability, including CBR and Plate Bearing tests.
