We are seeking an experienced Senior/Principal/Associate Geotechnical Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a leading design, engineering, and project management consultancy, we offer a unique opportunity to work on prestigious geotechnical projects both in the UK and internationally.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leading role in the ground engineering input to some of our most challenging projects. We are looking for someone with the drive and enthusiasm to embrace the future and contribute to our rapidly expanding workload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead geotechnical design teams and mentor junior engineers
  • Develop and expand our infrastructure geotechnics capability
  • Work on a broad spectrum of sectors, including highways, rail, and water geotechnics
  • Manage projects and teams to deliver high-quality results
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver solutions

Requirements

  • Proven technical and project management track record
  • Chartered status as a civil engineer or geologist
  • Strong academic background with a relevant degree (ideally MSc or equivalent)
  • Excellent interpersonal and technical skills
  • Ability to develop and lead geotechnical design teams
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence to liaise with clients
  • Good commercial track record in negotiating and running successful jobs
