About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of geotechnical projects, including ground investigation and construction. As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for effectively managing and delivering project work, with a focus on robust project financial management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver project work, ensuring timely and within-budget completion
  • Assist in the management of team resources and allocation of project resources
  • Provide support in all aspects of project delivery, including client liaison, contractors, and sub-consultants
  • Supervise ground investigation and construction, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and contractors
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Technical expertise in geotechnical engineering, with a strong understanding of Eurocode 7 and UK annex design codes
  • Consultancy experience, with a proven track record of delivering geotechnical projects
  • Excellent report-writing and client liaison skills
  • Working knowledge of geotechnical software, including deep and shallow foundations, embedded and gravity retaining walls, earthworks/slope stability, and reinforced earthworks
