Position Overview:

As a Supported Accommodation Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing a group supported living environment for young individuals, specifically within a self-contained flat complex.
  • Working two shifts weekly, with each shift spanning from 10 AM to 10 AM the following day.
  • Engaging with young adults aged 16-18, providing support tailored to their needs.
  • Assisting young adults in preparing for independent living, guiding them towards self-sufficiency and responsible adulthood.
  • Ensuring emotional support is provided, helping them transition to reduced reliance on assistance as they mature.
  • Managing documentation and care plans effectively.

Compensation and Benefits:

For the role of Supported Accommodation Team Leader, the salary and benefits include:

  • £69 per shift without NVQ Level 3 certification, or £14.60 for each sleep-in shift.
  • Paid hours of holiday annually, with additional days granted after two years of service.

Qualifications and Experience:

To qualify for the Supported Accommodation Team Leader position, candidates should possess:

  • Proximity to the supported living environment.
  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce or be actively pursuing this qualification.
  • Relevant experience working with older children or young adults in a residential or assisted living context.
