Churchill Estates Management is a distinguished and growing property management firm, seeking an experienced HR Advisor to become a vital part of our cohesive team in Ringwood. This role involves supporting our Managers and Colleagues with a variety of HR-related tasks to advance our people agenda.

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Head of HR, the HR Advisor will collaborate with the broader HR team to provide HR support and administration to Managers and Colleagues throughout the organization.

This position is a true generalist role, offering an excellent opportunity to engage in a diverse range of people-related activities and enhance your HR expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering advice, guidance, and coaching to Managers and Colleagues on employee relations and people-related issues
  • Ensuring timely and high-quality completion of probationary reviews and one-on-ones, advising Managers to facilitate this process
  • Assisting the recruitment team and Managers with interviews and assessments
  • Conducting exit interviews, providing feedback to Managers, and analyzing trends for the HR team
  • Implementing new starter surveys to ensure effective induction for new Colleagues
  • Gathering management information from our HR system and sharing identified themes with the HR and Management teams
  • Preparing essential HR data/metrics related to staff retention, absence, and engagement, along with other reporting as needed
  • Reviewing and drafting HR policies to ensure they are effective and support our commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion
  • Managing our Colleague benefits, including private medical insurance, health screening, and eye care voucher schemes
  • Coordinating our Colleague recognition program
  • Promoting continuous improvement of our people processes.

Candidate Profile

We value individuals who are passionate about their work and committed to providing an HR service that prioritizes the individual in every decision, conversation, process improvement, or policy.

The ideal HR Advisor will possess substantial knowledge of employee relations, employment law, HR systems, and processes. A CIPD level 5 qualification (or equivalent) is preferred.

Our preferred candidate will be an effective communicator, both in person and over the phone, with strong written and verbal skills. You will be resourceful, approachable, diligent, and solution-oriented. Additionally, you should have proven experience with the MS Office suite and demonstrate an organized and methodical approach in a fast-paced environment.

Above all, you should be passionate about your work, pragmatic, and able to adapt your approach to meet the needs of your audience and the organization.
