About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Destination Manager to join our team at StudentUniverse. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing innovative destination product strategies that showcase the best of Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Development: Collaborate with our sales and commercial teams to gather insights and feedback to continually improve our European tailor-made product offering.
  • Strategic Projects: Work closely with our Product Director on strategic projects related to our product portfolio, driving growth and revenue.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide regular progress reports, trend analysis, and statistical insights on the region and cross-region themes and holiday types.
  • Team Support: Offer training, product documentation, system loading, flight routing, and pricing support to our Sales Support Managers and sales teams.
  • Marketing Collaboration: Work closely with our Marketing team to develop digital and print campaigns, secure marketing agreements with suppliers, and provide regular product updates and training.
  • Competitor and Supplier Analysis: Conduct regular competitor, destination, and supplier analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Experience Development: Identify and contract experiences that enhance guests' holidays and add differentiation to our product.
  • Product Updates: Create and add accommodation, itinerary, and experience copy to our product database, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Website Management: Work with our website manager to create featured items, destination guides, and refresh existing copy for better SEO.
  • Fam Trip Planning: Oversee fam trip content and planning, ensuring relevant product is showcased and pre- and post-fam work is completed in line with company guidelines.
  • Supplier Engagement: Attend supplier events, trade shows, and overseas travel as required to build relationships and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
About You

You will have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful product strategies, with a strong understanding of the European travel market. You will be a natural leader, with experience in managing small teams and driving consistency across a product-function.

Requirements
  • Significant Product Management Experience: Proven experience in product management, with a focus on tailor-made travel.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial acumen, with experience in managing commercial negotiations and driving revenue growth.
