Job Overview

The Financing Operations team plays a pivotal role in managing Agency and Middle Office functions, facilitating interactions across various departments within Corporate Investment Banking and collaborating with essential support functions, particularly in the financing Front Office, including Real Assets, Global Trade, Investment Banking, and Securitized Product Group.

The Middle Office operates under the COO CIB/Global Banking Operations (GBO)/Financing Operations department and is involved in three critical phases:

1. Structuring
2. Implementation
3. Monitoring and Repayment

This position necessitates the development of strong partnerships with all Front Offices as key stakeholders, as well as collaboration with teams across multiple areas of the bank, including Risk, Finance, Loans Administration, and Back Office.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and provide insights on deal structures and facility documentation during both the structuring and closing phases, ensuring compliance with credit approvals and term sheets.

- Ensure accurate representation of all deals in the Bank's system (Loan IQ), including deal structure/modeling, security packages/collaterals/assets, and all covenants, along with associated reviews and monitoring activities.

- Support all current and prospective Facility Agency roles.

- Oversee daily activities to ensure they are well-documented and allocated according to departmental procedures and systems (e.g., query log, departmental email mailbox, Sword).

- Ensure all post-closing actions are executed and recorded in the bank's systems, including the completion of all relevant check sheets.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

- Familiarity with Investment/Corporate Banking and its products is essential.

- Strong knowledge of facility documentation, particularly in the context of financial covenants and security packages.

- Experience with Facility and Security Agent roles, including familiarity with systems such as DebtDomain and ClearPar, is preferred.

- Proactive approach with the ability to provide valuable support to business partners in a reliable and timely manner.

- Demonstrated flexibility and readiness to embrace new assignments and challenges in a dynamic environment.

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, capable of engaging confidently with stakeholders at all levels.

- Strong attention to detail with a focus on control and risk management, taking ownership and accountability for responsibilities.
