ABOUT THE POSITION:


We are actively seeking a motivated and dependable Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to manage the upkeep of a diverse range of properties.


Employment Type:
Permanent - Full Time.

Compensation:
£15-17 per hour.

Working Hours: 09:00Hrs to 17:30Hrs (flexible) with a half-hour unpaid lunch break.

Role Overview:


The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the maintenance operations across various properties, ensuring high standards of care and service delivery.

The ideal individual will possess a robust background in horticulture and grounds management.

This position necessitates a proactive approach to maintaining outdoor environments, including lawn care and garden maintenance, alongside fulfilling the duties of a property caretaker.

A valid driver's license is essential, as travel between locations is required.


You will collaborate with site teams to guarantee exceptional service delivery and enhance client satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

Grounds Management:

Oversee and execute general groundskeeping tasks, including mowing, pruning, weeding, and maintaining garden areas to ensure a pristine appearance.


Horticulture:
Cultivate and maintain gardens, ensuring the health and vitality of plants, trees, and shrubs. Offer expert guidance on garden maintenance as necessary.

Property Oversight:
Serve as the primary caretaker for the exterior of properties, ensuring that they are well-maintained and welcoming.

Team Leadership:

Supervise and coordinate a small team of maintenance personnel, ensuring that all tasks are performed efficiently and to a high standard.


Documentation:
Utilize Excel to maintain precise records of maintenance activities, expenditures, and scheduling. Provide regular updates to management.

Transportation:
Travel between various properties, transporting necessary equipment and materials as required.

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, with a solid foundation in horticulture and grounds management.
  • Exceptional gardening abilities, with the capacity to maintain diverse outdoor spaces.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the capability to manage a small team effectively.
  • Proficiency in Excel for creating and maintaining reports.
  • A valid UK driver's license is required.
  • Dependable, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards.
Previous experience is advantageous; however, comprehensive training will be provided.
