Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to join our Estates team. This role is crucial for ensuring the effective execution of maintenance services, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs throughout the site. The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will collaborate closely with the Chief Engineer and provide essential support for various projects and maintenance tasks.
This position will also contribute to key areas within the Estates department, such as Capital Projects, Sustainability initiatives, Compliance, and Facilities Management, as well as overseeing the Estates Helpdesk operations.
Role Responsibilities
The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will play a pivotal leadership role within the Estates department, directly overseeing a team of engineers and maintenance personnel. This includes providing guidance, support, and effective supervision. The role requires strong collaboration with various departments to ensure clear communication and support, with a focus on achieving excellence in Estates services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a diverse range of services and projects, aligning with the overall objectives of the Estates department.
Candidate Requirements
Applicants should possess relevant qualifications in engineering, construction, or building services, ideally at a degree level, or demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience. Significant senior management experience is essential, along with specialized training in areas such as high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems, Legionella management, and pressure systems.
