We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a diverse portfolio of properties.


Employment Type:
Permanent - Full Time.

Compensation:
£15-17 per hour.

Working Hours: 09:00Hrs to 17:30Hrs (flexible) with a half-hour unpaid lunch break.

Role Overview:


The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in horticulture and grounds upkeep. This position necessitates a hands-on approach to managing outdoor environments, including lawn care and garden maintenance, while also fulfilling the duties of a property caretaker.

A valid driver's license is required, as the role involves traveling between various sites.


You will collaborate with site teams to ensure superior service delivery and enhance client satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

Grounds Management:

Supervise and execute general landscaping tasks, including mowing, pruning, weeding, and maintaining garden areas to exceptional standards.


Horticulture:
Cultivate and maintain gardens, ensuring that plants, trees, and shrubs are healthy and thriving. Offer expert guidance on garden maintenance as necessary.

Property Oversight:
Serve as the primary caretaker for the exterior of all properties, ensuring they are well-maintained and visually appealing.

Team Leadership:

Direct and coordinate a small team of maintenance personnel, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.


Documentation:
Utilize Excel to maintain precise records of maintenance activities, expenses, and scheduling. Provide regular updates to management.

Transportation:
Travel between various properties, transporting necessary equipment and materials as required.

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, with a strong emphasis on horticulture and grounds management.
  • Exceptional gardening abilities, with the capacity to maintain a variety of outdoor environments.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the capability to manage a small team effectively.
  • Proficiency in Excel for report creation and maintenance.
  • A valid UK driver's license is essential.
  • Dependable, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to upholding high standards.
Previous experience is advantageous; however, comprehensive training will be provided.
