About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Information Analyst to join our Data Flows team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing analytics, data, and reporting to support our clinical services and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain reporting flows to support the NHS Payment Scheme and local contractual rules.
  • Work closely with our IT development and finance teams to support the collection, processing, analysis, and reporting of key trust patient activity.
  • Enhance, improve, and automate processes to reduce manual burden and increase efficiencies.
  • Support the creation and management of reporting for billing, data analysis, and visualizations.
Requirements
  • Good planning, analytical, administrative, and numerate abilities.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to manage and prioritize own workload and work to often tight or pressured deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Educated to degree standard in a numerate discipline or has the relevant work-based experience.
  • Experience working in an information analysis or reporting-focused role.
  • Able to demonstrate use of corporate databases and multi-user environments for reporting and dataset production to a high standard.
