Divisional Director of Operations - Surgery

About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Divisional Director of Operations for the Division of Surgery at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality surgical services across the Royal site, ensuring effective performance management and adherence to national standards.
  • Lead the financial management of the division, driving CIP targets and ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Develop and implement service plans aligned with strategic objectives, ensuring seamless integration with wider Trust initiatives.
  • Ensure robust governance and assurance frameworks are in place, with effective risk management at a Divisional level.
  • Provide on-call cover for the Trust as part of the tactical management rota.
