Job Title: Operational Finance Director

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Operational Finance Director to join our team at North West Borough Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our finance leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance and ensuring the effective management of our financial resources.

About the Role

The Operational Finance Director will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our financial strategy, working closely with senior leaders to ensure alignment with our overall business objectives. You will have a strong track record of financial management, with experience of leading large and complex financial projects. Your expertise will be essential in driving financial performance, improving efficiency, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and improve financial performance
  • Lead the development and implementation of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts
  • Manage and oversee the financial operations of the trust, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Provide financial guidance and support to senior leaders and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective financial management and compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in financial management, with experience of leading large and complex financial projects
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements
