Divisional Director of Operations - Surgery

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an exceptional leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as Divisional Director of Operations for the Division of Surgery.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of healthcare and employment opportunities for the people of Liverpool. As a key member of the Hospital Management Board, you will be responsible for the safe and effective delivery of all surgical services hosted at the Royal site.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Service delivery and performance management, ensuring delivery of key national performance standards.
  • Effective financial management of the division, delivering CIP targets and ensuring adherence to Trust governance and assurance frameworks.
  • Service planning linked to wider strategic objectives, ensuring the division's contribution to the Trust's overall goals.
  • Providing on-call cover for the trust as part of the tactical management rota.
