AI Governance Lead

WeCookIT is seeking an experienced AI Governance Lead to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the framework that ensures the ethical, compliant, and secure development and deployment of AI systems within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement governance frameworks, policies, and standards for AI initiatives
  • Monitor compliance, manage risks, and ensure AI practices align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including legal, compliance, IT, and business units, to promote responsible AI usage and mitigate potential risks
Requirements:
  • Deep understanding of AI ethics, data privacy laws, and regulations (e.g. GDPR, EU AI Act)
  • Expertise in creating and implementing governance frameworks, policies, and standards for AI
  • Proficient in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with AI systems
  • Strong ability to engage and communicate with diverse stakeholders
  • Capability to analyze complex issues and make informed decisions regarding AI governance
  • Proven leadership and project management skills to drive governance initiatives and ensure adherence to standards
  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies, specifically GenAI technologies and the applications of LLMs
  • Experience in expressing and storing policies as code or implementation in 3rd party vendor data governance software
Qualifications:
  • 35 years of experience
  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies, specifically GenAI technologies and the applications of LLMs
  • Expertise in creating and implementing governance frameworks, policies, and standards for AI
  • Deep understanding of AI ethics, data privacy laws, and regulations (e.g. GDPR, EU AI Act)
  • Deep knowledge of EU AI Act
  • English fluent, German is a plus
