Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AI Governance Lead to join our team at WeCookIT. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the framework that ensures the ethical, compliant, and secure development and deployment of AI systems within our company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Implement Governance Frameworks: Create and implement governance frameworks, policies, and standards for AI initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor Compliance and Manage Risks: Monitor compliance with AI governance frameworks and manage risks associated with AI systems, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including legal, compliance, IT, and business units, to promote responsible AI usage and ensure effective governance practices.
  • Lead Governance Initiatives: Lead governance initiatives, drive governance practices, and ensure adherence to standards, leveraging your leadership and project management skills.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a basic knowledge of AI technologies, specifically GenAI technologies and the applications of LLMs, to effectively oversee governance practices.
  • Policy Expression and Storage: Have experience in expressing and storing policies as code or implementation in 3rd party vendor data governance software.
Requirements:
  • At least 35 years of experience in AI governance and related fields.
  • Basic knowledge of AI technologies, specifically GenAI technologies and the applications of LLMs.
  • Expertise in creating and implementing governance frameworks, policies, and standards for AI.
  • Deep understanding of AI ethics, data privacy laws, and regulations (e.g. GDPR, EU AI Act, etc.).
  • Deep knowledge of the EU AI Act.
  • Fluency in English; German is a plus.
