We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced AI Lead to join our growing AI team at Wakapi. As an AI Lead, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying innovative AI solutions that drive business value. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for AI application and translate them into tangible results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop AI Solutions: Utilize cutting-edge technologies, including machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing, to create innovative AI solutions that meet business needs.
  • Lead Complex AI Projects: Execute complex AI projects from problem definition and architecture design to model training, deployment, and evaluation.
  • Build and Maintain AI Infrastructure: Develop and maintain robust and scalable AI infrastructure to support production-grade applications.
  • Implement Best Practices: Implement best practices for data management, model development, and testing to ensure high-quality and reliable solutions.
  • Monitor and Evaluate AI Models: Monitor and evaluate AI models for performance, accuracy, and bias.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and engineers, to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows.
  • Stay Current with AI Advancements: Stay current with the latest advancements in AI research and development.
  • Mentor and Guide Junior AI Engineers: Mentor and guide junior AI engineers and developers.
  • Communicate Complex Technical Concepts: Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 6 years of experience as an AI Engineer or a related role.
  • Proven Track Record: Proven track record of designing, developing, and deploying successful AI solutions.
  • Machine Learning Expertise: Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms and techniques, including supervised learning, unsupervised learning, and deep learning.
  • Deep Learning Frameworks: Experience with deep learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Programming Skills: Excellent programming skills in Python and other relevant languages, such as Java and C.
  • Cloud Computing: Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Data Management: Strong understanding of data management, data analysis, and statistical methods.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
