Your responsibilities


In your role as the Property Supply Chain Manager at Sainsbury's, your main duty will be to proficiently manage the relationships with property suppliers to facilitate the successful implementation of the capital investment initiatives while considering aspects such as time, cost, and adaptability.

You will oversee the collaboration with warehousing, logistics, and other supply chain partners, evaluate the performance of suppliers and contractors, and drive ongoing enhancements in the equipment supply chain.

Strong stakeholder management, analytical skills, and strategic thinking will be essential for your success in this position.

You will collaborate closely with property and procurement stakeholders to anticipate equipment needs up to three years ahead, ensuring their availability for project execution.

Your role will involve selecting the most appropriate supply chain strategy for various work streams, evaluating new specifications and suppliers, and optimizing supply chain pathways.

Additionally, you will manage the Property Supply Centre (PSC), ensuring effective inventory oversight, order processes with suppliers, adherence to lead times, and exploring opportunities for equipment refurbishment and recycling.

As the Property Supply Chain Manager, you are a seasoned professional with a proven history of managing supplier relationships, particularly in a fast-paced and complex delivery environment.

Your strong grasp of supply chain principles enables you to ensure the successful execution of the capital investment initiatives.

Your expertise in stakeholder engagement allows you to effectively connect and influence both internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.

You possess excellent communication abilities and a strategic mindset, empowering you to make informed decisions, enhance performance, and continuously refine processes.

Your capacity to foresee and resolve intricate challenges, combined with your commercial insight, contributes to the overall success of the property supply chain and the delivery of projects.
