Administrative Support Coordinator

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team in providing comprehensive administrative and clerical assistance to our Diagnostic Day Care Unit.
This role is part-time, with a typical schedule from Wednesday to Friday, and may require full-time hours during staff absences.
The ideal candidate will possess outstanding interpersonal abilities and be comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and adaptability are essential qualities for this position.
A solid educational background is required, with a minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade C (or equivalent), including both Mathematics and English. Proficiency in IT is also necessary.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be tasked with delivering an efficient and well-structured administrative and reception service to the Diagnostic Day Care Unit.

Qualifications and Training
Essential
- 3 GCSEs/'O' Levels or equivalent, including Mathematics and English (Grade C or above) or relevant experience
- Proficient keyboard skills; IT qualification or demonstrated experience
Desirable
- RSA Stage 1 or equivalent
- Customer service training/experience
- Familiarity with medical terminology
Interpersonal and Organizational Skills

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively within a team

Experience and Knowledge
Essential
- Previous office or clerical experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in accordance with the Data Protection Act

- Experience with CAMIS or large database systems
- Previous experience in a hospital setting
