Job Role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer to join our client's growing drainage team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining drainage systems using HGV Class 2 Combi Units/Recyclers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on the mains sewer network.
  • Work as a two-person team to ensure efficient and effective maintenance.
  • Operate HGV Class 2 Combi Units/Recyclers to maintain drainage systems.

Requirements:

  • HGV Class 2 license and CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence).
  • Previous experience of driving and operating combi units is desirable.
  • Willingness to undertake physical work associated with maintaining the drainage network.
  • Desirable qualifications include Streetworks, HPWJ (High-Pressure Water Jetting), Confined Space, and First Aid.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday, 6am to 4pm.
  • On-call rota may be required.

Remuneration:

  • £50 to £18 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Overtime compensated at time and a half.

Contract Type:

  • Initially a temporary contract with the possibility of permanent employment.
