Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Management: Ensure that risk is assessed and managed across the immediate and wider working environment, and that statutory requirements are met.
- Team Supervision: Supervise a defined group of team members and contribute to their overall CPD, mandatory training, and appraisal process, recognizing the skills required across the team.
- Leadership and Development: Act as a role model to promote a culture of learning, development, inquiry, and a team vision.
- Collaborative Risk Assessment: Contribute to the process of collaboratively assessing and acting on risks of harm, danger, and abuse.
- Deputy Ward Manager Role: Deputise for the ward manager in their absence.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Implement, monitor, and evaluate therapeutic interventions within an overall care program, enabling people with mental health and/or learning disability needs to develop coping strategies.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Eating Disorders Experience: Experience working with individuals with eating disorders.
- Autistic Spectrum Disorder & Learning Disorder Experience: Experience working with individuals with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and/or Learning Disorders.
- Similar Environment Experience: Experience working in a similar environment.
- Relevant Post-Registration Experience: Relevant post-registration experience.
