Deputy Ward Manager Opportunity

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our client's team in South West London. As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the ward and providing high-quality care to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Risk Management: Assess and manage risks across the ward environment, ensuring statutory requirements are met.
  2. Team Supervision: Supervise a defined group of team members, contributing to their CPD, mandatory training, and appraisal process.
  3. Collaborative Risk Assessment: Contribute to the process of assessing and acting on risks of harm, danger, and abuse.
  4. Therapeutic Interventions: Implement, monitor, and evaluate therapeutic interventions within an overall care programme.

Requirements:

  • Qualified as an RMN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
